Football to collect clothing for hurricane victims

Dear Players, Parents, and Community Members:

In coordination with the Connecticut High School Football Coaches Association and teams across the state, the Newington Football Program will be collecting clothing that is in fair to good condition to donate to those that have been impacted by the hurricanes that have hit communities in the South. Many families have lost everything including their homes and need our help. A small donation of used clothing can go along way for these families.

Please drop off bagged (plastic garbage bags) donations at the field house during any of our practices. We will leave a collection bin outside of the upstairs entrance. The CHFCA will pick up our contributions on Monday, September 25. So let’s come together and give to those in need.
